We have some new staff members helping around Towne. Meet these friendly faces who are working with 5th-7th graders every day.

I was born in Washington D.C. but grew up in Denver, and am a graduate of CU Boulder with a degree in international affairs with a geographic concentration in Latin America. I was a long time user of Young Americans Bank until they kicked me out at 21. Happens to us all! In my free time I love to play and coach youth soccer for a local nonprofit soccer club.
I am excited to interact with the kids during Young AmeriTowne and International Towne and I love helping them learn!

I am a Colorado native, born and raised in Littleton. I went to school at University of Puget Sound in Washington state. During my free time I like to go skiing, camping, hiking and rock climbing – I love the outdoors! I remember being a radio DJ in Young AmeriTowne when I was in 5th grade.
The thing I most look forward to is seeing all of the kids so excited every day they come into Towne!

A recent transplant to Colorado, I’m super excited to be working here at Young Americans! I was a Political Science and Theater double major at Colgate University in Central New York State, so Denver’s 300+ days of sun has been a wonderful new addition to my life (not to mention actual mountains!). During college I worked at the Center for Outreach and Volunteerism Education, which gave me exposure to a variety of non-profits in the Upstate region and my passion for mission driven work. My past experience with kids includes being a counselor at a summer Theater and Film camp for kids with high functioning autism and Asperger’s syndrome, teaching German to elementary school students and one-on-one tutoring in reading.
I love the sense of wonder embedded in how kids look at the world, which is why I enjoy working with them so much. Their experiences at Young Americans are a great example of this.
