Super Candle Holiday 2016On December 3rd, 2022, Young Americans Center for Financial Education will host its annual YouthBiz Holiday Marketplace from 10am-2pm.  This is a fantastic opportunity for young business owners between the ages of 6-21 to sell their products to customers.  This year, YouthBiz can safely return to pre-pandemic levels are pleased to host over 60 different youth businesses.

The YouthBiz Marketplace is a great way for any young person to experience business ownership for the day.  For many vendors, the YouthBiz Marketplace is their first sales experience.  For others, it is an annual tradition.  Regardless of the experience level, all young entrepreneurs are welcomed to participate.  The only requirement is that all products are handmade.

For customers, iWilla Miette Studio owner Willa Wangf you’re looking for holiday gifts for your friends and loved ones, the YouthBiz Holiday Marketplace is for you.  This year’s Marketplace will feature a wide range of products and gift ideas.  There are so many vendors and products from which to choose!

One such business is Willa Miette Studio, owned by Willa Wang.  Willa sells handmade art, screen printed t-shirts and tote bags, all thoughtfully curated using sustainable materials and packaging. She also donates a portion of her profits to wildlife conservation organizations.

Another exciting business at this year’s Holiday Marketplace is Goods by Gwen, owned by Gwendolyn Plue.  Gwendolyn sells an array of laser cut wood products, such as holiday ornaments, candle holders, home decor, keychains, and more.  Gwendolyn’s products are a unique expression of her creativity.

Sebby Soledad, owner of Art from the Heart, is another vendor at this year’s Holiday Marketplace.  Sebby started selling his art when he was only 8 years old!  His business has continued to grow from there.  Sebby sells incredible paintings of Colorado wildlife, nature, and even portraits!  His talent is undeniable, and his paintings would make a great gift for this holiday season.

Art from the Heart Owner Sebby SoledadIn addition to these and the more than 60 other youth vendors, the YouthBiz Marketplace will also host a fun scavenger hunt for customers!  The first 40 customers who complete the scavenger hunt will win a $5.00 coupon to spend at the Marketplace!

The YouthBiz Holiday Marketplace is open to visitors of all ages and admission is free.
