A unique and amazing collaboration is taking place near 11th and Speer. Over the course of eight weeks, Young Americans and Galvanize are partnering to benefit young entrepreneurs and coding students, that will culminate with amazing results.

Design from the ground up
Ten young business owners from Young Americans were selected to participate in this pilot program. These business owners are all looking for a website to help grow their business and bring a mobile face to their products and services.
The students at Galvanize’s “gSchool” are going through six months of rigorous training to learn to code and build Ruby on Rails websites.
We brought these two groups together so the gSchool students could build free websites for our young entrepreneurs.

The groups are meeting every other week to go through the drafts and designs, provide feedback, brainstorm, and check in. The final results will be unveiled on June 3, and I promise to show pictures and video of each of the new sites.
