Junior Business Jumpstart (Grades 4-5)
Every entrepreneur starts with an idea! Ideas can come from observing your surroundings and being curious about how things work. Everyone has the ability to come up with an idea – it’s what you do to bring it to life that makes you an entrepreneur.

Brownie Budding Entrepreneur (Grades 2-3)
An entrepreneur is someone who finds ways to help people and solve problems. They are curious about how things work and see each setback as a chance to make things better. In this badge, you’ll become an entrepreneur!

This annual gala is the culmination of Colorado’s largest annual competition for young business owners ages 6-21. A premier event, Spotlight on YouthBiz Stars recognizes the incredible achievements of young entrepreneurs operating real businesses with real customers and real profits.
YouthBiz Spring Marketplace
Small businesses supporting small businesses! Join Young Americans Center in championing a community of support for youth entrepreneurs taking charge of their business ventures. A family-friendly community event where you can directly patron small businesses and participate in our various games and activities available.
Now offering peer mentorship connections for all participating vendors wherever assistance is needed on their entrepreneurial journey. Vendors of similar ages will be paired together to encourage and grow each other’s businesses and support each other day of marketplace.
Description: This camp teaches you to create, market, and sell your own mobile app as a business venture. Campers learn block coding and pitch app ventures on Friday for a chance to win cash prizes! This is an entry level coding camp. No prior coding experience is required.

Starting a new journey? Whether it’s school or a job, we’ll help you build your brand with an elevator pitch, networking practice, and professional headshots.
Ages:13-21
- Step into the role of product developers and marketers by designing your own unique popcorn flavor from scratch and vote in a blind taste test!
- Ages: 8-14
Required for first-time Marketplace participants. Parents and children are welcome! Join us in-person from 9-10 AM for a social breakfast hour, where parents and vendors can connect and share experiences with each other.
Our workshop will have interactive activities for both children and parents to engage with, teaching sales, customer skills, and product marketing. Learn tips from former participants about their insights and strategies for selling at the marketplace.
Virtual option through Google Meets is available this year if unavailable to attend in person.
Participants attending our workshop in person will receive a $5 Bill Buck that will go towards a purchase at a fellow vendor’s booth day of Marketplace.
