Young Americans Center for Financial Education is partnering with three Denver Public Libraries to provide FREE entrepreneurship experience for middle schoolers this spring!  Teens have a chance to win $350 in this four-day session, Tuesday, March 26 through Friday, March 29.  Times vary by location: Blair Caldwell African American Research Library, Ross-Barnum Branch Library, Woodbury Branch Library.

Teachers should schedule a Young AmeriTowne Teacher Orientation or watch a Refresher webinar at least two months prior to attending Young AmeriTowne.  Teacher Orientations are included with the cost of program registration. Join us for a free, unique learning experience!  In this class, 10-12 year-olds learn about the importance of saving and how to start a 5-step Financial Plan.  The class includes hands-on activities that make finance fun! Money Matters Class: Coin Carnival

Join us for a free, unique learning experience!  In this class, 4-6 year olds will play a series of coin games and activities designed to help them recognize coins. Girl Scout Badge Class: Brownies Philanthropist Badge

Participants who attend this class will be guided through the steps necessary to earn their Philanthropist badge.  Girls will discuss the differences between needs vs. wants and will learn why it is important to share with others.  They will define the term “philanthropist” and will come up with ways that they can share their time, talent and treasure with others.

Join us for a free, unique learning experience!  In this class, 7-9 year-olds learn the difference between a long-term savings goal and a short-term savings goal through fun, hands-on activities. Girl Scout Badge Class: Juniors Business Owner Badge

Participants who attend this class will be guided through the steps necessary to earn their Business Owner badge.  First, girls will learn the steps and character traits needed to start a business.  Then, they will explore the types of support that are available for youth-owned businesses.

Join us for a free, unique learning experience!  In this class, 13-19 year-olds learn about loans: what they are, why you need to apply for a loan, and when you should apply for a loan.  The class includes hands-on activities that make finance fun!
