Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Young Americans Center for Financial Education!
Volunteers play a vital role in empowering young people as they build real-world financial and entrepreneurial skills. Our greatest need throughout the year is for judges in our YouthBiz program, where students spend several weeks developing a business idea, writing a business plan, and preparing to pitch in a “Shark Tank”-style competition. As a judge, you’ll help select the winning student(s), who receive $100 in seed funding to launch their business, and — just as importantly — provide meaningful feedback and encouragement to every participant. However, other opportunities pop up throughout the year based on organizational needs.
