Young Americans Center is committed to developing the financial literacy of young people up to age 22. These are real-life experiences and provide hands-on education in free enterprise, global economics, entrepreneurship, banking and personal finance.


From classroom success to life success.
The curriculum for our programs includes lessons with specific themes. Each is designed to teach and inspire youth to become adults who strive to make sound financial decisions in both their personal and business life. Programs are also mapped to Colorado Content Standards, Personal Financial Literacy Standards and Common Core Standards.

Summer is all about hot days, and cool camps.
When school is out for the summer, gaining financial know-how shouldn’t take a vacation. Interested in foreign currency and global trading? Or maybe you want to turn a business idea into a real money maker? Our award-wining programs will give you a financial head start as you learn by doing super cool, hands-on activities that makes the summer days fly by – all taught by staff who know their stuff.

Is the curriculum for the programs aligned with state standards?
Yes! All Young Americans curricula are aligned to Colorado State Standards in English Language Arts, Mathematics, and Social Studies. Our content is also aligned to Common Core Standards and Jump$tart Financial Education Standards, with YouthBiz curricula also aligned to National Content Standards for Entrepreneurship and Career and Technical Education Standards.
What is the cost for schools and students to participate?
At Young Americans, we pride ourselves on providing access to financial education to all students. Program pricing varies by program, ranging from $15-$35 per student. Financial aid is available for all program offerings to ensure equitable access for all.
Are programs offered only during the school year, or summer, too?
Programs are offered throughout the entire year, including our award-winning summer camps! Summer camps are offered for rising 3rd through rising 8th graders each year, featuring fun and interactive camps in Young AmeriTowne, International Towne, and YouthBiz. Registration begins in January.
What are the grade ranges for class participation?
Grade ranges for participation vary by program. For Young AmeriTowne, students are in grades 4-6. For International Towne, students are in grades 6-8. For YouthBiz, students are in grades K-12. For Money Matters, students are in grades PreK-12. Young Americans Summer Camps serves students in grades 3-8.
