ChargeLab offers several badges and microcredentials for students to earn and share along their learning journey! Awards are earned upon successful completion of courses and are displayed on each learner’s home page. Older students can earn various microcredentials through course completion and can even share their awards on their LinkedIn profiles!

How do I register for courses?

You can go to https://learn.yacenter.org to find and select the courses for which you’d like to register. Complete the simple registration process to create your account and you’re ready to Take Charge of your learning!

How long do I have to complete the courses?

All courses are currently available from May 1, 20206 through September 30, 2026. After that point, courses will be available for a fee.

How do I earn badges?

Badges are available for each course plus an extra badge if you complete all 6 courses! Badges are earned through course completion with a score of 80% or above and successful completion of the course evaluation survey.

What technology do I need to be successful?

Can I register more than one child?

Yes! You can purchase multiple licenses and assign the licenses to different children. Once you register, you’ll be sent a step-by-step guide for how to assign your learners to the courses. You can also access the registration FAQ’s here.

How long does each course take to complete?

Courses are paced for approximately 4 hours per course. However, because the reading level is set for fourth grade students, older students may be able to complete the content more quickly. All courses are asynchronous, meaning students can complete the courses at their own pace.
