Join us for a free, unique learning experience!  In this class, 10-12 year-olds learn about the importance of saving and how to start a 5-step Financial Plan.  The class includes hands-on activities that make finance fun! Class participants earn a $10 savings certificate for attending.  Certificates can only be deposited into a Young Americans Bank account.  Accounts may be opened immediately following class.

Girl Scout Badge Class: Brownies Philanthropist Badge

Girl Scouts attend a class at Young Americans

Participants who attend this class will be guided through the steps necessary to earn their Philanthropist badge.  Girls will discuss the differences between needs vs. wants and will learn why it is important to share with others.  They will define the term “philanthropist” and will come up with ways that they can share their time, talent and treasure with others.

Join us for a free, unique learning experience!  In this class, 13-19 year-olds learn about loans: what they are, why you need to apply for a loan, and when you should apply for a loan.  The class includes hands-on activities that make finance fun!
