Young Americans Center for Financial Education offers a Teacher Orientation to every teacher participating in the Young AmeriTowne program. Teachers should schedule a Young AmeriTowne Teacher Orientation or watch a Refresher webinar at least two months prior to attending Young AmeriTowne.  Teacher Orientations are included with the cost of program registration. Money Matters Class: Coin Carnival

Join us for a free, unique learning experience!  In this class, 4-6 year olds will play a series of coin games and activities designed to help them recognize coins. Class participants earn a $10 savings certificate for attending.  Certificates can only be deposited into a Young Americans Bank account.  Accounts may be opened immediately following class.

Girl Scout Badge Class: Brownies Philanthropist Badge

Girl Scouts attend a class at Young Americans

Participants who attend this class will be guided through the steps necessary to earn their Philanthropist badge.  Girls will discuss the differences between needs vs. wants and will learn why it is important to share with others.  They will define the term “philanthropist” and will come up with ways that they can share their time, talent and treasure with others.
