Young Americans Bank provides age-appropriate, personal finance presentations focused on meeting Colorado personal financial literacy standards.  Presentations include a “hands-on” lesson where youth experience, not just learn about, financial topics.

This outreach is available throughout the Denver metro area–we can come to you!  Tours of either of our Young Americans Bank locations are also available upon request.

YouthBiz Workshops
YouthBiz Workshops focus on the skills young entrepreneurs need to develop their businesses.

Private Group YouthBiz Offerings – Facilitated
Examples of current offerings (Find the complete list here):

  • Applying for a Business Loan – Ages 10-21
  • Branding and Logo – Ages 8-18
  • Business Simulation Game – Ages 12-18
  • Customer Service and Professional Etiquette – Ages 8-18
  • Developing a Business Plan – Ages 8-21
  • Establishing Pricing – Ages 10-21

Private group workshops must have a minimum of 15 students.
Workshop fee is $150 during regular business hours.
After hours workshops (evenings and weekends) incur an additional $150 surcharge.
All workshops are subject to staff availability.

Money Matters Classes
Fast-paced, hour-long Money Matters Classes engage kids in learning the importance of money and banking.

Girl Scout Classes
Virtual lessons and games help Girl Scouts become financially savvy and gain a better understanding of money, budgeting, or philanthropy.
