Learn, think, speak, act like an entrepreneur

YouthBiz StartUp provides middle and high school students with the basic building blocks of success through an engaging curriculum and hands-on activities.

In this 15-session program, students will:

  • Learn about themselves and others
  • Compose their own power team
  • Develop a business idea
  • Create a prototype
  • Pitch their business to a panel of judges

What I like about the YouthBiz StartUp Program is it helped me understand about budgeting and finance, and it also helped me learn more about myself.

The curriculum is mapped to the National Content Standards for Entrepreneurship Education and teaches 21st Century Skills such as critical thinking and reasoning, information literacy, collaboration, self-direction, and invention.

Ideal for groups of up to 25 students, the program allows for a flexible delivery in after-school clubs, enrichment periods or elective class periods.

Young Americans Center provides comprehensive resources including teacher training, workbooks, prototype materials, prize money, and more.

The price varies depending on school and student needs.  Scholarships are available.
