Money Matters Class: Coin Detective
Young Americans Bank - GVR Branch 4800 Telluride Street, Bldg. #5, Denver, CO, United StatesStudents are introduced to coin recognition skills and the concept of sorting coins into sets. Then, they will cut, paste, and assemble paper coins to help them identify both sides of pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters. Class participants earn a $10 savings certificate for attending. Designed for youth grades K-1.
Money Matters Class: Sarah’s Budget
Young Americans Center for Financial Education and Young Americans Bank - Denver 3550 East First Avenue, Denver, CO, United StatesStudents will learn why creating a budget is valuable. Then, students will determine a reasonable amount of money for Sarah to spend within her budget based on her income. Class participants earn a $10 savings certificate for attending. Designed for youth grades 4-6.

Young Americans Center for Financial Education and Young Americans Bank - Belmar 401 South Pierce Street, Lakewood, CO, United StatesStudents will choose short and long term savings goals and make transactions to meet those goals. Students will then set their own personal savings goals. Class participants earn a $10 savings certificate for attending. Designed for youth grades 2-3.
