To develop the financial literacy of young people through real-life experiences and hands-on programs purposefully designed to enable them to prosper in our free enterprise system.
Vision
Our goal is that Colorado youth grow up knowing how to earn, make, and manage their money wisely, regardless of background. We focus on personal finance, free enterprise, global economics and entrepreneurship with four keystone programs: Young Americans Bank, Young AmeriTowne, International Towne and YouthBiz.
Need for Financial Education
Research shows that a large percentage of people of all ages, incomes, and education lack the basic financial knowledge and skills to ensure long-term stability for themselves and their families. This is why we believe it is never too early to teach children about money. Learn more.
Young Americans Bank
Young Americans Bank, the world’s only FDIC-insured bank designed specifically for young people, operates alongside Young Americans Center’s nonprofit programs. Young Americans Bank offers products like savings and checking accounts just like other banks do. However the bank’s uniqueness is in its focus specifically on young people and helping them develop smart money management habits at an early age.
Young Americans’ Nonprofit Programs
Young Americans nonprofit programs depend on thousands of volunteers as well as financial and educational support from the community. That support enables us to impact thousands of kids, teens and young adults each year through engaging, hands-on programs like Young AmeriTowne, International Towne, YouthBiz, Summer Camps and Spark Change.
Become a Supporter
Our supporters range from large, multi-year corporate partners to smaller entrepreneurial business owners; from passionate individual givers to dedicated local foundations. We are committed to creating long-term relationships with every one of them.
