Young Americans hosted new and veteran business owners attend and contribute to “Success Strategies for Marketplace Class” on Saturday, March 22. During the first hour of class, the group discussed customer service, promotion, pricing, competition, and day of operations. Businesses had time to work together and be creative and draw some examples of what their business cards would look like.
During the second hour of the class the young business owners worked on differentiating and growing their business, and EOU (Economics of One Unit). The entrepreneurs took to the white boards to figure out how much they needed to sell their items for to be profitable.
Most young people in Colorado are starting Spring Break this week and our young entrepreneurs will be using this time for product production. So be sure to make it to the Marketplace on Saturday May 3rd to shop great products from over 50 youth businesses.
