Young Americans Center for Financial Education offers eight different week long day camp options for youth who have completed 2nd-6th grade.
Girl Scout Class: Brownies (ages 7-9) Philanthropist Badge
Young Americans Center for Financial Education and Young Americans Bank - Denver 3550 East First Avenue, Denver, CO, United StatesParticipants who attend this class will be guided through the steps necessary to earn their Philanthropist badge. Girls will discuss the differences between needs vs. wants and will learn why it is important to share with others. They will define the term “philanthropist” and will come up with ways that they can share their time, talent and treasure with others.
Girl Scout Class: Juniors (ages 9-11) Business Owner Badge
Young Americans Center for Financial Education and Young Americans Bank - Denver 3550 East First Avenue, Denver, CO, United StatesParticipants who attend this class will be guided through the steps necessary to earn their Business Owner badge. Girls will discuss qualities and characteristics of being a business owner and will brainstorm how to start and run their own business. They will end the class by coming up with a business plan to implement their ideas.
Girl Scout Class: Daisies (ages 5-7) Making Choices Badge

Girls will discuss the differences between needs and wants and how choices and decisions affect one’s ability to meet these. They will finish by creating their very own savings jars to take home.
