Angelina is a Student Leader at Kent Denver, as well as President of the school’s Fashion Club. She has written articles about financial literacy for her school’s business newsletter and is a Mathnasium math tutor.

As an outreach facilitator at Urban Angels, Angelina organized the delivery of over 100 dresses and care packages to children in Honduras – a project that was both challenging and life-changing for her. After graduation, she hopes to attend university in Europe.

Evan is a fifth year mandarin student who recently received a US state department scholarship to study Chinese for two months in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Last year he started a monthly newsletter for Kent Denver students with articles ranging from investment basics to understanding taxes. The newsletter now has 6 contributing writers. Evan also  scored a perfect 1600/1600 on his SAT.

Evan is equally engaged outside of school. In 2019, Evan won the Judges Award at the VEX Robotics World Championship and in 2018 he became an Eagle Scout after leading a 202 volunteer hour oral history service project. Evan is also a research and content development intern for a student project called Alpha Finance as well as a high ranking chess player.

The Youth Advisory Board will certainly benefit from the tenacity of these two go-getters.
