We are excited that InBank will continue the partnership developed over 9 years with Young Americans Center. Funds from sponsors like InBank allow us to expand the reach of Young AmeriTowne, our flagship educational program, to small schools and rural communities beyond the Denver metro area.

Young AmeriTowne On the Road uses the same curriculum and culminating Day-in-Towne experience as our “classic” program in Denver and Belmar. Students work through the curriculum with their teachers for 6-8 weeks in preparation for running their own town for a day.

While Young AmeriTowne features 17 shops, On the Road consists of 9 shops (assembled by Young Americans staff at a local community center, college, or business) – the perfect size for smaller school groups. We are able to service multiple schools over the course of one or two weeks in remote communities, giving students there a hands-on learning opportunity they would not otherwise have.

“InBank and Legacy Bank have always been committed to our communities, customers and associates,” commented Andrew Trainor, EVP, President Community Banking. “We feel confident that we have found a partner that shares a similar culture and being able to sponsor such a memorable event for local children that also fosters great financial literacy is a small way we can do our part to support families and educators in Pueblo County.”

InBank now has an expanded geographic footprint serving customers from 19 offices, including 14 locations in Colorado and five in northern New Mexico. These locations include Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Pueblo West, Cañon City, Buena Vista, Lamar and Wiley.

On the Road is expanding as well, with plans to travel to Grand Junction, Durango, La Junta, Montrose and more in 2023.

With their entrepreneurial spirit and mission of positively impacting the lives of its customers, communities, and associates, InBank is the perfect partner to ensure students from all corners of Colorado benefit from the financial lessons they learn by participating in On the Road.
