Technology needed: This class will be offered on Zoom and Google Classroom as a remote/virtual program. Participants will need access to a computer/tablet with a camera, an internet connection, a Google account, and the ability to operate Google Classroom by themselves or with the assistance of an adult. Materials needed for the program will be available electronically prior to the program’s start. Any purchases will be mailed to the participant following the program.
Description: Create and rule your own country! Participants will explore the economic, political, and social differences between countries in our world as they work to invent their very own country. In a culminating mission, participants will share their country and will experience a custom catastrophe they must solve. Participants will also use virtual dollars to purchase real goods.
