YouthBiz has partnered up with three Denver Public Library branches to bring YouthBiz StartUp, an entrepreneurial-focused experience, to youth grades 5-9. This inaugural event is first of its kind! This 10-hour program will enable students to learn, think, speak, and act like an entrepreneur. Participants will learn about themselves and others, compose their own team, develop a business idea, create a prototype and pitch their business idea to a panel of judges. The winning team from each location will earn a cash prize and will compete in a grand finale event at the Capital One Café downtown Denver. The overall winner earns an even bigger cash prize!!
