Young Americans Center for Financial Education invites the community to support local, youth-owned businesses by shopping at the YouthBiz Marketplace this Saturday, December 2 from 10am-2pm.
Shoppers will find exquisite gifts, including beaded jewelry, greeting cards, bath products, home baked goodies, artwork, and more, hand-made a sold by youth. There are 66 vendors signed up to participate, ranging in age from 5-17 years old.
This Saturday’s event also features top businesses honored at the 2017 Spotlight on YouthBiz Stars business competition, including the three winners: Cover Your Collar, Lily’s Little Buddies, and Sweet Bee Sisters. These businesses are sure to impress!

What is the best way to get my child involved in this event? Or better, to start from a base point to then work up to these events? How long in advance and how do they have to qualify for this?
The date is incorrect on this! Saturday is the first of December. So what are the correct date and times?

Thanks for your email! This is a blog highlighting last year’s event, which was on Saturday, December 2, 2017. This year’s YouthBiz Marketplace is on two dates: Saturday, December 1, and Saturday, December 8.
