YouthBiz StartUp participants present their pitch at the 2018 Spring Break Mini Camp finale.

We may have snow on the ground, but spring is just around the corner, and Young Americans Center for Financial Education’s YouthBiz program is proud to announce the return of Spring Break Mini-camps!

Offered in conjunction with Denver Public Library, these FREE camps offer a prize of $350 for your business idea.  Young people will learn, think, speak, and act like an entrepreneur by participating in YouthBiz StartUp.  In the program, you will:

  • Learn about yourself and others
  • Compose your own power team
  • Develop a business idea
  • Create a prototype
  • Pitch your business to a panel of judges

Camps run Tuesday, March 26 to Friday, March 29 at three different Denver Public Libraries:

  • Blair Caldwell African American Research Library
  • Ross-Barnum Branch Library
  • Woodbury Branch Library

Times vary by location, but a free lunch is provided each day.  Space is limited, so please sign up today!
