Support local youth businesses by shopping at the YouthBiz space at The District Shops in Cherry Creek.
Looking for some last minute holiday gifts? Stop by The District Shops located in Cherry Creek Shopping Center, 2500 E. 1stAvenue #A100, Denver, CO 80206. It will be open on Christmas Eve until 5pm. In particular, we encourage you to visit the YouthBiz space near the west entrance and see some of our new vendors!
For the next three months, you can find products from two of our 2018 Spotlight on YouthBiz Stars finalists: Gabe’s Bazaar by Gabriel Nagel (12) and HER Design Store by Hannah Reyes (12). Gabe’s Bazaar sells unique massage moisturizing candles, super bars, a single, solid lightweight all-in-one insect repellent, deodorant, sunscreen, and moisturizer bar to get you ready for the camping and hiking season. HER Design Store sells amazing rosette hair clips and other fun accessories.
At The District Shops, you’ll find gifts like these hair clips from HER Design Store, created by 12-year-old Hannah Reyes.
You’ll also find products from both a “newbie” and a veteran business. Nerdy Crochet LLC by Josephine Stockton (14) is a brand new vendor which sells handmade crochet dolls and science sets. Our veteran vendors Sweet Bee Sisters LLC, by Lily (17), Chloe (16), and Sophie (13) Warren are there selling their eight flavors of all-natural lip balm and other products made from their own beehives.
Young Americans Center for Financial Education is extremely excited to have these new vendors sell their products and gain experience in retail. Support these local entrepreneurs and find the perfect gift all in one place!
