They grow up so fast don’t they? We feel the same way about our “baby”, but are so excited to see the Young Entrepreneurs Marketplace turn 20! To celebrate 20 amazing years of creative, hard-working young business owners, Young Americans will be serving cupcakes made by one of our entrepreneurs. We will also be hosting a drawing for some incredible, FREE gift baskets! These will be loaded with products from the kid businesses and will be a great reward for shopping for friends and family while supporting young entrepreneurs!
Sneak peak at products
Do you know a girl that needs a decorative way to organize her headbands and bows? Stop by and see Mikayla (age 11) and her business, The Headband Holster, for the solution. She will have lots of colors and patterns to choose from. Plus, we all know someone who loves to hula hoop, so why not get them the perfect handmade holiday hoop from Al’s House of Hoops, owned and operated by Lucas (age 10)? This will be the first Marketplace experience for Mikayla and Lucas, but we have returning businesses too.
An example of some delicious food items available at the Marketplace are brought to you by long time Marketplace participants Josette (age 20) and Octavio (age 18) of Barraza Burritos. Staff members at Young Americans rave about their breakfast burritos, but they also have tasty bean and beef, or vegetarian burritos if you are looking for a convenient lunch. Need something to wet your whistle? Go ask the experienced business girls/sisters Nyla (age 10) and Eryka (age 3) of Aahhh 2 J’s Lemonade for a refreshing drink.

Where to shop
Come shop all of our talented 70+ young entrepreneurs on Saturday, December 7th from 10am-2pm at our Cherry Creek location, 3550 East 1st Avenue, Denver, CO 80206. Then visit and support a whole new set of business owners at our Belmar location, 401 South Pierce, Denver, CO 80226, on Saturday, December 14th from 10am-2pm.
We you arrive, be sure to witness the healthy family competition by checking out brothers Elijah (age 15) and Miles (age 10) of Gonzales Guys, who will be selling preservatives and nitrate-free beef jerky available in two flavors while their sister Hannah (age 17) of Gonzalez Gal Gourmet Goodies will be selling delicious dip mixes, and homemade jam in unique flavors that you can’t find in stores
