Virtual Webinar
Juniors, Grades 4-5
Cost: $15 per scout (includes class materials and badge which will be mailed following the class)
Format: Virtual webinar presented by a trained staff member
Technology needed: tablet or laptop, internet connection, Google account
Description: Participants who attend this class will be guided through the steps necessary to earn their Savvy Shopper badge. Girls will identify the difference between “needs” and “wants,” and will discuss advertising techniques and how ads affect consumer decisions. Participants will also make a time capsule about what they think they will purchase as adults, which they can open in 10 years.
