Young Americans Center for Financial Education is so pleased to have Will Forbes and Amelia Marcum as Co-Chairs for the 2020-2021 Youth Advisory Board.  Learn about each in today’s blog!

Will Forbes Headshot for 2020-2021 Youth Advisory BoardWill Forbes is a senior at Kent Denver School. Will serves as the President for Sun Devils Model United Nations, and Co-president for the Entrepreneurship Club. He has served on the student leader board, he has been a part of the Kent Denver players theatre company and varsity lacrosse, and he even volunteers with Denver Dumb Friends League. Over the last few summers, Will has been using his experience as a nationally-ranked sailor to coach children ages 10-12 in New Jersey. With his drive about the Board and about meeting new people, Will brings a lot of great ideas about how to create a cohesive and enjoyable Youth Advisory Board experience.

Amelia Marcum Headshot for 2020-2021 Youth Advisory BoardAmelia Marcum is a senior at Regis Jesuit High school. Over the years, Amelia has learned multiple languages and even teaches Mandarin. She led a group to win the regional championship in the eCybermission National competition, she was selected for the Stanford summer humanities institute, and she was nominated to represent Colorado at the United Nations Commision on the Status of Women in New York. Amelia is also the founding president of Girl Up at Regis, which is a school chapter of a global initiative that engages members to advocate for girls by collaborating with community leaders to increase female representation throughout the world. With her positive attitude, a passion for learning and leadership, and strong organizational skills, Amelia has helped plan a great year.
