Girl Scouts of all ages can take free entrepreneurial classes to assist with cookie sales.
Now that Cookie Season is almost over, what is your troop going to do with all their free time and (more importantly) their cookie money?
While Young Americans Center won’t tell girls what to spend their money on, we can help them learn to make smart financial decisions while having fun. We’re pleased and honored to be partnering with Girl Scouts of Colorado to offer a series of badge classes, all specifically designed to assist girls in earning their financial literacy badges.
Troops can choose from a variety of badges, including Budgeting, Making Choices, Money Manager, Savvy Shopper, Money Counts, Philanthropist, and Business Owner. Each event is packed full of hands-on activities and games that teach girls how to set goals, budget, and help others.
