Pigs Around Town revisited the Far Northeast Bank Branch once again during the summer of 2016! And once again, the outcome was a great success.
This year, in addition to earning cash for searching and photographing Pigs throughout northeast Denver, individuals could earn a bonus $15 for writing paragraphs or creating drawings of their summer savings goals. Answers ranged from Beyoncé concert tickets to college, car payments to basketball shoes.
We heard from parents who remarked that this year was the best yet because it encouraged young people to think about why they should save their money and to work towards reaching their goals. In the weeks following the conclusion of the scavenger hunt, many of the participants actually achieved their savings goals. 
Youth bank account holders continue to express their appreciation for Pigs Around Town, and they anxiously await the next opportunity. Check our website and Facebook page this fall for more information about when Pigs Around Town will be back!
