Young Americans is kicking off the New Year by partnering with Colorado UpLift. Colorado UpLift is a nonprofit, youth service organization dedicated to building long-term, life-changing relationships with urban youth. Serving students in Denver Public Schools, Colorado UpLift staff will implement our YouthBiz StartUp entrepreneurial curriculum in six low-income middle schools this semester.

“Young Americans is thrilled to partner with the leadership at Alpine Bank to bring the powerful YouthBiz programming to more at-risk youth through Colorado UpLift facilitators. This youth development opportunity is particularly important for these middle school students, as they often lack access to this type of curriculum,” said Richard Martinez, President and CEO, Young Americans Center for Financial Education.

YouthBiz StartUp is investing in a new generation of business owners, job creators and community leaders by helping youth harness their passions, skills and dreams through entrepreneurship. Over the next couple of months we will be sharing more about our new YouthBiz StartUp curriculum, stay tuned!
