Young Americans greatly benefits from the dedicated leaders on our three Boards of Directors overseeing Young Americans Bank and Young Americans Center for Financial Education. Today we’d like to introduce you to long-time board member Charles (Charlie) D. Maguire, Jr., Partner at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP.
At Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP, Charlie represents a wide range of companies in a full range of corporate and securities matters, including public and private securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance transactions. He counsels companies in all aspects of their business and in a variety of industries, including telecommunications, technology, consumer products, and sports and entertainment. Charlie previously chaired HRO’s Corporate Department from 2000-2007 and served as a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.
Charlie is also an active community member. In addition to the Young Americans Center Board, Mr. Maguire currently serves on the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors, the Volunteers of America Colorado Branch Board of Directors, and the St. Sebastian Project of Denver Board of Directors.
A member of the Young Americans Center for Financial Education Board for the last eight years, Charlie has been instrumental in the acquisition and expansion of the YouthBiz programs as well as the regional expansion of the Young AmeriTowne. “Serving on the Board of Young Americans Center for Financial Education has provided a way for me to impact this generation of youth in a positive way,” notes Charlie. “I believe strongly in the mission of the organization as I have seen the impact that a sound financial education has in the business world.”
