Charlie Maguire is a Partner at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP that has served on the Young Americans Center for Financial Education Board for more than a decade.

Young Americans relies on the leadership of two Boards of Directors to help guide policy and strategic direction of Young Americans Bank and the nonprofit Young Americans Center for Financial Education.  A member of the Center Board, Charles D. Maguire Jr. exemplifies what being an engaged Board Member is all about.

As Partner of Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP in Denver, Maguire represents a broad array of clients in a full range of corporate and securities matters.  He works across a variety of industries, including telecommunications, technology, consumer products, and sports and entertainment, bringing a solution-based, client-focused approach.  Maguire counsels companies of all sizes in public and private securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance transactions.

Maguire is also an active community member.  In addition to his commitment to Young Americans, he currently serves on the Boards of Volunteers of America, Colorado Branch, St. Sebastian Project of Denver, and the Denver Sports Commission.

Young Americans Center truly values Maguire’s passion, knowledge, and experience.  He has provided invaluable legal help with two Center programs: Young AmeriTowne’s expansion into Wyoming, Kansas, and New Mexico and YouthBiz’s licensing agreement in San Jose Del Cabo with the Boys and Girls Club.  Additionally, Maguire has lent his advice to up-and-coming young entrepreneurs, helping them incorporate their businesses.  “In these unprecedented times, financial education has never been more important,” notes Maguire.  “I am proud to help lead an institution where this kind of learning comes to life in a way that children remember for years to come and to help carry forward the legacy of Bill Daniels and his passion for teaching children about our importance of entrepreneurship, integrity, and the free enterprise system.”

Leadership comes in a number of ways, and Young Americans Center is grateful to Maguire for a decade of service to the youth of Colorado.
