Make a difference as you do you taxes this year by donating your Colorado State Tax Refund to Young Americans Center for Financial Education!

The Colorado Department of Revenue has offered this “Donate Your Tax Refund to Charity” program for many years, and Young Americans Center is proud to be among the 17 registered nonprofits for a third year.  Through this program, taxpayers make contributions to their favorite charitable organizations when they file their state income tax return.  You can donate part or all of their refund, even if you take the standard deduction.

When you choose Young Americans Center for Financial Education Fund, line 17 of the Voluntary Contributions Schedule, you provide Money Smarts to a generation of Colorado youth through hands-on financial education programs.  You provide financial knowledge and entrepreneurship experience that put youth on a path towards financial self-sufficiency.

Whether you do your taxes yourself or use a tax preparer, find simple instructions here for how to make sure your refund donation goes to your chosen nonprofit.

Help us meet our goal of raising $50,000 for financial literacy programs benefiting 47,400 students every year across our state!
