As all youth have started a new scholastic year, so has YouthBiz. We’re starting this new school year with a bang! New workshops and business tours are on the YOUTHBIZ-3horizon. Whether you’re looking for industry-specific information or business concept workshops, we have them! Our workshops are available for youth ages 6 through 21. Make sure to sign up for age appropriate workshops, some may be for a specific age group. Look out on our calendar page for new and exciting things to learn, think, and speak like the entrepreneur you’re meant to be.

Coming up in September we have:

  • 9/15/2017 Starting a Biz Bootcamp: a workshop for youth ages 6 to 15.Llearn about what it takes to start a business and create a business plan all in the name of fun! Entrepreneurs will go through the business plan cycle and end with a prototype and/or marketing materials in hand. Whether you have a product- or service-based idea, this workshop can help make your business idea into fruition.
  • 9/26/2017 Denver Startup Week: Youth Pass– In partnership with Junior Achievement and Denver Startup Week, we’re providing exciting opportunities for youth entrepreneurs ages 6 through 18 to join for a YouthBiz Expo & Marketplace, and Youth Early Access for High School students, a chance to partake in the different Denver Startup Week sessions.
  • 9/30/2017 Business Law Reboot: Are you between the ages of 11 and 16 years? Did you miss February’s business law workshop? Do you need a refresher? Associates from Davis, Graham, & Stubbs, LLP will be talking about what it means to form a business entity, what the advantages are, and how one goes about doing it.
